Pee pee on the potty

It's official, at 28 months you are potty trained!!! Wahoo, go DJ!!!!!! I decided it was time when you started to pee all over the playground at a local park one day. You became very cognizant of your urine but never told me you had to go. So I went out and got you "Ariel & frozen" underwear and told you that you get to wear them if you go pee pee on the potty. And gosh darn what do you know, it worked! Very few accidents other than when mom forgets to remind you after we have been out of the house for a few hours. You are doing really well at pooping on the potty which I thought might be tough for you with the constipation and all. You love getting a candy after every pee and poo. I always know when you have to go poop because you request that patches come in and "sit down" next to you. You will instruct mom & daddy "out mommy" "out daddy" , "patches sit down" . Other words you say on the potty "mommy poo poo" "muscles" "dj push" "big one mommy" "yeah, DJ potty mommy"  sooo proud of you sweet girl. You even wear underwears and NO diaper to bed!!!

My little lady, you are simply put the BEST. You ALWAYS have a smile on your face. You absolutely love being outdoors, we usually wake up way breakfast and explore the backyard till nap time. You like to water the trees, pick the tomatoes, pick strawberries, chase after patches, play in your swingset and just cruise the outdoors. We have been working on colors with you, everything seems to be "white or blue" you sure don't get pressured into learning, everything is at your own pace. 

You love your little brother, always looking for him or trying to give him something. You certainly don't like that he takes your things now that he can crawl. He anislitely adores you, smiles Everytime you are near, such a fun thing to watch. 

You took swim lessons this past month, we are working on going underwater and holding our breath. You seem to do well but won't kick hard enough to get your head out of the water. You still take a pacifier (I know I know , I need to take it away). You also are still in diapers but will tell me when you have to go potty. Hard to potty train you when your poop is still so hard and associated with pain to you. You also love being naked. Great grandma Fran hates that Everytime she sees you you aren't wearing any clothes, I think it's funny. You're in your own backyard exploring, you should be able to be in the nude 😂

25 months old

You continue to amaze me everyday.. You love the world around you so much. Your smile lights up my heart, makes me so happy to see you happy and growing and healthy. You love being outdoors. You continue to be a super picky eater, still only liking go-gurt (that I freeze so you think it's a Popsicle) , cereal, waffles, eggs, Mac n cheese , watermelon, hot dogs, strawberries you pick from the yard, and pretty much anything junk food. 

You love your brother, will walk over to him just for hugs. He smiles so big when he sees your face, total admiration from him for you. 

You have become so independent. If you want something out of the cub-bard you will move your chair so you can reach it yourself. You bring me the go-gurt and scissors so I can cut it for you. You direct me towards the garage and prompt me to "open" it. You knock on the sliding door and call "patches, where are you? " when you can't see her . 

You LOVE the pool, have been wanting to go in all the time with daddy. You started taking gymnastics classes with daddy in Saturday so mommy can sleep in .. Daddy says you aren't the worst but aren't quite the best (JUST YET) . 

2 years old

Well it's official, I have a two year old on my hands as of yesterday. We celebrated your birthday little mermaid style this year, you just adore Ariel. 

This past month your language has improved dramatically. You repeat almost every word. You still are a picky eater, pretty much love Mac n cheese, sometimes bites of steak, gaucamole, Popsicles, go gurt, cheese, and juice . 

You're 32 pounds and 36" tall. You still wear diapers but most of the day you're without and pee on the potty. 

You love being outside, going to Disneyland, the little mermaid, your little brother, chasing the boys outside, playing with daddy (talking out the trash and picking up dog poop) , patches (your dog), the beach, pool, watering the plants, looking for butterfly's, balloons, playing dress up, putting on shoes, pulling off your and your brothers diaper, riding your skateboard, and hanging with mommy! 

23 months old

Omg it's here, you second birthday is coming up FAST!!! You are majorly obsessed with Ariel and the little mermaid so naturally that has to be the theme for this years partay!!!!!!!! 

You have blown my mind with all of your developments these past two months! Your speech is nonstop, you have become a parrot and a sponge. Even caught you saying "shit" right after mommy. Guess it's time I watch my mouth and start listening to country music. 

You love the outdoors, lately you have been outside with "nana" while she gardens 

We're halfway there

Mom & dad have been working on potty training with you. About three weeks ago we out you on your potty and you went per three times in one day on your toilet. Then you wanted nothing to do with the potty.. For the past few days you exhibit signs of readiness again. You pull off your diaper, you know when you're wet, you take naps and stay dry. But you are inconsistent in trying. Today you went once on the potty and once on the time floor (oops). Tonight your dad and I were talking about how we text each other pictures of your pee & poip all the time. 

We still have a ways to go but you are so smart and ready I know it will be soon!!!

Yup, it happened.. You fell in the tub tonight and hit your chin. You cried but not anymore than usual so I didn't think much of it until I looked and saw blood. Ahhhhh mommy screamed for daddy and told him it was time to go to the emergency room for stitches.. Dad thought it was best I stayed home with Eli wince I would be a nervous wreck. I stayed home and you and dad went to the ER. The wait was long so we decided to bring you home and glue you instead. And of course mommy gave you lots of candy for collateral because I felt so damn awful about it. So much of the red in this photo is from the cookie frosting. 

21 months old

This month you have made great strides in your vocabulary. You try to repeat almost ever word mommy and daddy ask you to. You see obsessed with the little mermaid, dance to one song with all of your heart every time it comes on. 

With baby Eli uou are such a sweet sister. You bring mommy wipes and diapers when it's time to change him. Uou give him a pacifier when he cries. You put blankets on him while he's naked. You kiss him all the time. You wake him from his sleep daily by screaming or touching him. We took you up to big bear and you went sledding for the first time & loved it. 

You have the meanest tantrums when mommy isn't paying you the attention you demand. 

You only eat macaroni and cheese, cereal, juices daddy makes for you, oatmeal, and cheese ( occasionally yougurt). You love being outdoors, playing with bubbles or getting on the skateboard with daddy. You love Disneyland and fast rides. Not sure how much you weigh, I would say around 32 pounds. You are in 2T & 3T clothes. Your hair is blonde and eyes are green. You're a happy little girl unless someone doesn't give you what you want.

We spent the day with grandma robin and grandpa tom in big bear. Daddy took you sledding for the first time.. You were in love instantly...
